MASTER’S THESIS
This prototype was designed for a Master of Communication Design thesis. This project explored issues in cross-cultural design and participatory design in order to develop a digital learning resource that would enrich Aboriginal students’ experience of Canadian Aboriginal Literature in a University of Alberta course. Research was conducted to understand the nature of the challenges in course delivery and to work directly with students to determine what content and imagery would be helpful and meaningful for them. Testing of a paper prototype was conducted for phase one; in the next phase a working prototype will be created.
